We have fully boat tested this 25hp Yamaha and it runs perfect. It is very smooth and has plenty of power to push a This engine has a 15 inch short shaft which is ideal for small boats and skiffs. Since this motor is a 4 Stroke it will be EPA compliant with all bodies of water. THIS IS A 6 CYL, DIRECT FUEL INJECTED ,TWO STROKE OIL INJECTED OUTBOARD WITH POWER TRIM AND TILT. THESE 6 CYLINDER HPDI YAMAHA MOTORS PRODUCE OUTSTANDING POWER AND RAW TORQUE. THEY ARE LIGHTER THEN A COMPARABLE FOUR STROKE AND THEY ARE MUCH STRONGER OUT OF THE HOLE.

THE MOTOR WAS LIGHTLY USED AND IT CLEAR WHEN YOU LOOK AT IT. THE COMPUTER SHOWED ONLY 239 TOTAL HOURS

MECHANICALLY THE MOTOR IS IN GREAT SHAPE. COMPRESSION WAS 120-125 PER CYLINDER. IT FIRES RIGHT UP, PUMPS GOOD WATER , SHIFTS SMOOTH AND SOUNDS EXCELLENT WHEN YOU RAP THE THROTTLE.
